Our mission
We help companies with setting up value-driven learning environments that allow their employees to excel and drive innovation. Together with leading Belgian academics we have created trainings and learning programmes on key topics such as leadership, entrepreneurship, strategy & analytics, sales, marketing and finance to support (middle to senior) managers in their search for applicable and functional knowledge. In other words, we help you to close the gap between strategy and operations.

People at intu
Intu consists out of a strong team of experienced people, complemented with external experts. These experts follow our philosophy and have earned their stripes in one or more areas.
By mutual agreement, they take up the consultative role of sounding board or as project manager.
Tom van Wassenhove
Tom Van Wassenhove holds a master’s degree in Commercial Sciences and took additional courses at the Antwerp Management School and the Vlerick Business School. Since 2001, he lectures the course Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at Hogeschool Gent, and he coordinates the course SME Management. Besides his academic career, he is the director and consultant in several SMEs.
Tom De Smaele
Tom De Smaele is one of the co-founders of Handlangers, a marketing-communication agency. Since 2000, he has held various sales and marketing positions. Next to his master’s degree in Communication Sciences, he took additional courses at the Vlerick Business School and at various renowned marketing institutes.
Kristof Versluys
Kristof Versluys is one of the co-founders Handlangers, a marketing-communication agency. He has held various marketing and management positions since 2000.
Steve Stevens
Steve Stevens is the founder of ‘Entrepreneurship with Steve’ and ‘Building Between Bridges’. Since 2013, he has been coaching Student Startups at UGent, where he is now Manager of DO! UGent (Durf Ondernemen). Since 2015 he holds the role of National Expert on behalf of the European Commission for the HEInnovate Facilitators Group. In addition, he was as a city councilor for the City of Ghent and represented the city as a director within several organizations and intermunicipal organizations.
